The results were quite alarming.

So – with firm justification for a service like ours to exist – we built Verifier Lab to deliver both a verification service to brands who are confident in their product quality/integrity and want to share this transparently, and also to provide an accessible service for consumers themselves (where supplement brands without Verifier Lab certification can be submitted for assessment, to give peace-of-mind that they aren’t actually doing more harm than good by taking it).

I've taken the same brand of fish oil for over 7 years, and never questioned their quality. We struggled to find ways to differentiate our own-brand supplements in an increasingly competitive online marketplace - we had a competitive price, and a high quality product, but a brand name that wasn't that well-recognised. Using Verifier Lab accreditation allowed us to prove our product quality in a convincing, third-party approved way, and established an extra selling point in an area of high concern for consumers of food supplements.
I wanted to find out how much of my Vitamin C supplement I was actually absorbing. I was taking timed-release due to the body's ability to only absorb so much at once, but I was concerned that it was passing through my system before it had fully dissolved/absorbed due to this. So I sent it off to Verifier Lab to check the disintegration and dissolution rates. Very insightful!
